Platen or punch press die cutting is a traditional method for cutting thin materials using a bladed tool. Whilst this method is good for medium to high volumes it does involve the use of a tool. Materials direct never charges for tooling as we figure that if you need a die cutting tool you will be ordering large quantities so the tool will pay for itself over time.
